Places You Must Visit In Ibiza

If you are planning a trip to the beautiful White Island Ibiza, then there are a few places you should visit when you get there.

If you are extremely short on time, my favourites of the below are El Chiringuito, Amante, and Es Bolado 🙂

Restaurants and Beach Clubs:-

  1. El Chiringuito – http://elchiringuitoibiza.com

This is a beach club and restaurant situated on a lovely beach on the south east of the island.

It is perfect for a lovely lunch or a romantic dinner- plus as it is a beach club they also have big luxury beach beds you can hire for the day which a lovely too.

I would recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or even lunch too!

Dishes to try: the Frutti Fi Mare seafood pasta for two people to share was delicious- one of the BEST seafood pastas I have ever eaten!

  1. Amante Ibiza https://www.amanteibiza.com

Again this place is a beach club and restaurant so you could simply visit for a delicious meal OR you could hire a bed for the day. This was one of the most beautiful and picturesque restaurants/locations that I visited on my trip – it is situated in the north east of the island in a beautiful cove overlooking the turquoise Ibiza sea. The food is fresh and is Mediterranean inspired!

I would recommend this restaurant for a stunning lunch with a view.

Dishes to try: the black squid ink risotto with fresh scallops as well as the crispy squid with ndjua and creamy mash were both D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S

  1. Aiyanna Ibiza.https://www.aiyannaibiza.com

This laid back, luxe venue is at one with its natural surroundings on the north of the island. It has a rustic natural beach if you fancy spending the day there as well as taking a trip for lunch or dinner.

The space is inspired by modern design and nature, and out of all the restaurants I visited, it was the restaurant with the most Ibiza ‘hippie’ vibe! This isn’t far from the Hippie Markets thy happen on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the north of the island (Punta Arabi and Las Dalias Market).

Dishes to try: their menu keeps updating with new and fresh recipes, so I wouldn’t have just one thing to recommend- but I would definitely get a healthy freshly squeezed juice.

This restaurant is great if you are vegan as it caters well for vegans!

  1. Nassau Beach Club – http://www.nassaubeachclub.com

This place is a great beach club and restaurant by Playa D’en Bossa- it has luxury yet cool vibes, with big beautiful luxe sun beds that can be rented for the day with service to the beds, and great music playing all day.

The food is also good as well as the beach club facilities, with a range of options for Hawaiian poke bowls to burgers.

  1. The Beachouse Ibiza – https://www.beachouseibiza.com

This stylish beach restaurant is perfect for a lunchtime trip. It has a beautiful decor style, wonderful food and delicious drinks!

  1. Es Bolado https://www.restauranteesboldadoibiza.es/es/

This restaurant is on the south side west side of the island, in a bay just off the beaten track. It is a shabby chic restaurant situated on the rocks over looking the sparkling ocean and the Escull de Cala d’Hort …. if you get a good day you can even see a beautiful sunset over the water.

This restaurant is known for its seafood, so if you love seafood then you must take a trip here. I would recommend this restaurant for a sunset dinner.

Dishes to try: the whole prawns in garlic sauce or grilled are super tasty, as well as the fish of the day (the will vary on each visit, but it is always fresh, healthy and can be cooked in various ways)!

  1. Lio Ibiza https://lioibiza.com/

This restaurant is a ‘you must try once’ Venue! It is extremely expensive but the food and drinks are good, the view is nice but the amazing show is even better!

If you book a table you will enjoy a tasty dinner, and incredibly high class cabaret entertainment show all evening, a beautiful view of Ibiza town, AND automatically get access to the night club after. Lio is owned by Pacha, so you know you will have a great night of fun.

I warn you though- the price tag is high so this would be a special treat of if you were feeling lavish- not a causal event (with water costing £13 Euro’s)!

Other places to visit:

To get into the true Ibiza hippie style, you MUST visit one of the famous markets in the north of the island….

  1. The hippie market in Punta Arabi http://www.hippymarket.info/index.php?lang=en
  2. The hippie market in Las Dalias https://lasdalias.es

Formentera island boat trip –

You can get the ferry across to Formentera for the day and enjoy the beautiful beaches that look like the Caribbean, BUT you could also go on a private day trip on a boat. Here they take you to the private island just off Formentera for snorkelling in the even more beautiful crystal-clear turquoise sea on a picturesque secluded beach. They cook a fresh seafood paella for you on the boat; take you to Formentera in the late afternoon where you can choose to stay and explore; and also allow you to soak up some sunshine and stunning island views whilst relaxing on the boat deck.

There are even more great places in Ibiza to go to but these are just a few of the places I have been to that I would recommend you visit!
